On October 30, the results of the CA Foundation and Intermediate exams were released by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The official websites of ICAI, icai.org and icaiexam.icai.org, offer scorecards for the CA Intermediate and Foundation exams. In the CA Intermediate test this year, female applicants are in the lead, with Mumbai native Parami Umesh Parekh taking first place, followed by Chennai native Tanya Gupta and Delhi native Vidhi Jain. Jain received a score of 73.50%, Gupta 76.50%, and Parami 80.67%.
13,749 out of the 91,900 applicants that took the CA Foundation June exam passed, yielding a 14.96% overall pass rate. 7,766 of the 48,580 male applicants passed the test, yielding a 15.66% pass rate. Of the 42,320 female candidates, 5,983 passed, representing a pass rate of 14.14%, a somewhat lower percentage than the male candidates.
The results of the September 2024 Chartered Accountant Intermediate and Foundation exams are anticipated to be released on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, according to the ICAI statement. Candidates can visit icai.nic.in to view their results. Note that candidates must enter both their registration number and their roll number in order to view the results on the previously stated website.

With a pass rate of 15.17%, 69,227 candidates applied for Group I in this year’s CA Intermediate results. Of the 50,760 candidates that took part in Group II, 8,117 passed, yielding a 15.99% pass percentage. 139,646 students took the intermediate tests, which were administered in September at 459 locations. Male candidates had a pass rate of 20.47% in the CA Foundation results, compared to 18.76% for female candidates. The Foundation exam was administered at 453 locations to 78,209 candidates in total.
